Installation guide
Our app is not yet code-signed. Windows may show SmartScreen or Smart App Control messages. Use these steps for a safe install from our official site only.
-
1. Download from this page only
Use the button above. If your browser offers “Keep” vs “Discard”, choose Keep.
-
2. Optional: use the zip package
If you downloaded a .zip, right-click it → Properties → check Unblock → OK, then extract the folder.
-
3. Run the setup file
Open sianatech-0.1.18-setup.exe and follow the installer. Accept the install location or choose another drive with free space.
-
4. SmartScreen — “Windows protected your PC”
Click More info, then Run anyway. This is expected for unsigned installers we distribute directly.
-
5. If Windows Defender quarantined the file
Open Windows Security → Protection history → find the file → Actions → Restore. Only do this if you downloaded from sianatech.com.
-
6. Smart App Control (SAC) — hard block
If the message says Smart App Control (not the blue SmartScreen page), there is no Run anyway. Go to Windows Security → App & browser control → Smart App Control → Off. We recommend code signing in a future release to reduce this friction.
-
7. Launch & first run
Open Sianatec from the Start menu. On first launch, complete setup (database, admin user, license or demo).
Verify the download (optional)
Compare the SHA-256 hash of your file with the checksum shown above. In PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\sianatech-0.1.18-setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256
